MY ACER 5742Z STOPPED WORKING AFTER I HAD HIBERNATED IT. NEVER WORKING AGAIN WAT CAN I DO?

I suggest you try this:
1. disconnect power cord and remove the battery
2. push down the power buttton and hold down for 45 to 60 seconds
3. reconnect power cord and install the battery
4. restart the laptop
This procedure sometimes fixes the hibernation problem.

Hi Xpcman, the first step worked, the power light now shows and am buying you a JET but it refused to boot, it does not start. If you solve this one am buying you a ROCKET. Am vastly grateful you are my man.
