Toshiba satellite won't not from anything but discs

I have a Toshiba satellite p755-5215 and idk what happened honestly, my son was using it and it wouldn't boot up its just a blank screen with a cursor, then it says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" so I did that. I put in the Windows disc and it starts out fine, when I get half way r through the installation and it blacks out again. I'm at a loss... help?

Hello,

Another Toshiba issue, they come in by the dozen. You have my sympathy.

I suggest you try to restore to out of the box factory settings.

It acts like it'll boot up but it never beeps. It gets to the Windows logo and goes black again. Not responsive at all.

Can you boot in safe mode with networking?

What is your operating system?

Thanks a lot guy's u figured it out. I had to re-seat the hdd...
