Mac won't let me right click in excel

Hello,
Okay so my Macbook has stopped allowing me to right click to edit my excel chart, Ive tried googling the answer but everything is for windows, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your response but the issue is only in excel will it not allow for me to right click, not in general.
