Warzone Season 3 update: Easter Egg, Eclipse, weapons (2024)

The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 update has just been released, featuring the return of the Rebirth Island, as well as new weapons, quests and power-ups. Find here the most important features and tips for the game's new season.

The third season of Modern Warzone, Warfare 3 and Warzone Mobile, released on April 3, brings new maps, modes, and the return of the Rebirth Island. New multiplayer modes for Season 3 include the new Minefield mode, as well as the the return of Capture the Flag, the popular One in the Chamber party mode, Escort. We'll meet Snoop Dogg again with his new skin Battle Pass and will be able to enjoy the solar eclipse in the game.

Solar eclipse on Rebirth Island

With this update, Rebirth Island has returned to Warzone and this event coincided with the total solar eclipse that happened in America on April 8. To celebrate this fantastic natural wonder, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 has added the eclipse to the Rebirth Island map. When you start your Resurgence experience on Rebirth Island, the sky will be blue and sunny, but as you play, the sun will be obscured by the shadow of the moon, and this darkness will certainly affect your gaming experience.

What else will we see on Rebirth Island?

Many players have missed the Rebirth island, and the game's creators have finally gone after their dreams by adding a host of new locations, hideouts, and controls. In Season 3, you'll find the following items on the island among other things: Upland shelter, Harbor with underwater tunnel, Headquarters and Control Center, Prison with rooftop advantage over the entire island, Water Tower, Factory, as well as Dock, Sunken Bunker, Housing and much more.

Easter Egg quest

3 big update includes a brand new Easter Egg quest on the Rebirth Island Resurgence map, giving you a new "Redacted" weapon blueprint. It's not easy to get it, and our hints will definitely help you:

Find yourself on the lower balcony of the Factory POI and enter the door labeled B4.
You will see a locked room that contains a box. Shoot it and you will get access to the ID Card item.
Take the ID Card to the two-story building in the Harbor. You will be able to get to the second floor by using the ID Card. You can now use the computer to turn on the electricity. You can also pick up a drone here, which will come in handy when fighting enemies.
Now you need to get to the top floor of the Chemical Engineering POI, where you will find a computer terminal. There you need to find a red number with a white symbol - take a picture of it. On the floor below and also in the northern part of the building, find two more such numbers and also take a photo of them.

When you have all three numbers with white symbols, go to the room on the bottom floor of the Chemical Engineering POI where you will find three orange tanks. Click on the red button labeled "Release Water Pressure." On the orange tanks, use the terminals to match their numbers so that they correspond to the white symbols you collected earlier.
But the quest doesn't end there – this is a task for the ambitious! Now you need to adjust the pressure in the three orange tanks using the computer terminals. You will need to figure out which terminal corresponds to which tank. Use trial and error method. When you match all the numbers, durable gas masks will drop out.
Find the computer opposite the armoury case – on its screen you will see a table with file sizes in percentages. To get the code, you need to enter all the numbers in percentage from the largest number to the smallest number to get an eight-digit code. When you have guessed this code, enter it on the keyboard that you will find on the right side of the armoury case.
If you did everything correctly, you can open the armoury case. Hooray!

New weapons in Warzone Season 3

The Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 update adds some great submachine guns and sniper rifles, as well as improving the balance of existing weapons. Here are the new weapons:

The SOA Subverter Combat Rifle is the perfect weapon for engaging long-range targets. The rifle comes with several attachments, with which you will feel the recoil of the rifle less. The Bruen MK9 is a powerful light machine gun that also hits distant targets. This attachment will greatly increase its combat capabilities: Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor L, Barrel: 23" XRK Horizon V2, Optic: JAK Glassless Optic or Corio Eagleeye 2.5x, Magazine: 60 Round Mag, Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip.
With this update you can also get the TAQ Eradicator for medium to long range shooting, the MORS sniper rifle from Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the Renetti Pistol and the new FJX Horus submachine gun for close combat.
