Plot

The year is 1268 VE, and the realm of Arathos is rife with chaos and disorder. In the wake of the Crystal Bearer, Leon Daracan's sudden departure to Feldria, the hearts, and minds of the people are ablaze with suspicion and fear. With the Crystal of Arathos missing, Arathos is vulnerable, exposed to unknown dangers beyond its shores. Some are quick to condemn Leon for dooming the realm, while others wait anxiously for his return, along with the four Valiants who aided his quest.

A time of crisis is upon Arathos. In the midst of the Crystal Bearer's absence, political unrest seethes. It is up to three young knights, Elise, Felix, and Maeve, to rise up, keep the peace and maintain order. But saving the realm will demand great things from Elise, who must weigh all she holds dear in her quest — not merely to be a hero but always to do the right thing.

• Battle system: Valiant Force 2 features the classic turn-based battle system. Hence, you have the time to build and adapt your strategy throughout the combat and outsmart your adversaries.
• Combats: Thanks to the Hero Job System, you can grow your skill set and power level to customize your playstyle with a large panel of runes and equipment. Also, you will discover brand-new combat features like Aurom Cards and Elemental dynamics that can switch the balance of power.

• Heroes: You will find your beloved cast of characters and summon old friends like diabolical Dark Lords or the stalwart Valiants, but also newcomers like the calculative Sons of Midas or the seafaring Stormborn League.
• Airship battles: This new PVP mode makes you engage in epic dogfights where you have to defeat and destroy your opponent's airship before they take you down.

Graphics and sound

Valiant Force 2 takes graphics and sound very seriously, providing gorgeous anime-like visuals with tons of effects and details. The soundtrack is just stunning as the famous Hitoshi Sakimoto (best known for scoring Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII) composed it.
