Gameplay
Here are some of the main features of World of Tanks:
-
Gameplay: In World of Tanks, two teams confront each other and in order to win a match, a team has to either destroy all of the enemy’s vehicles or capture their base. To capture a base, the team has to stay in it long enough, without enduring any damage. Players are free to choose the vehicles they want, each of which can have three pieces of additional equipment that will influence the vehicle’s advantages. Matches take place on one of the World of War maps, that is randomly selected. Gameplay mechanics include camouflage, shell ricochets, module and personnel damage and stay the same over the different modes.
-
Modes: Originally, there were eight battle options, but today only six are supported: random, team-training, tank-company, team, stronghold, and special battles. The two modes that are no longer supported are Historical battle and Rampage.
-
Maps: There are over 70 different World of Tanks maps that vary in size, location, and weather, among others. The full location list and the maps’ description are available online - there is something for everyone.
