There are numerous of universal applications, such as Fring, Nimbuzz, Palringo and many more, so I don't know why you just mentioned ebuddy. Advertisement maybe? ;) Ebuddy is not the richest application of them all if you ask me.

If you don't have need for an applications that cover other IM servers at the same time, but just want to login on google talk or msn instead, you could simply use the official Nokia application "Contacts on Ovi" or "Windows Live Mobile" respectively.

You can use your Nokia's builtin IM Client. just make sure you use the correct settings. I have guide on how to do this in the Nokia e63 I'm sure its quite similar for your phone.
