My Acer Laptop keeps turning on and off.

Ever since about yesterday, whenever I turn on my laptop, the loading screen opens for a couple seconds, then shuts off for a couple seconds, then turns on again, and the cycle just continues unless I manually turn it down.

Thought that your laptop is overheating.. did you able to enter into BIOS or safe mode or it shutdown automatically before that!?

I have same problem. a child left the power button Very sticky and since then, I get the on- off cycle. Cant get to bios even. It activates the dvd then powers off

Tryt o remove the battery
switch the power button for 30 seconds
replace the battery
switch on the laptop
