When will Dead Island 2 be released?
After numerous delays, Dead Island fans began to fear that the second part might never come out. However, doubts have finally been dispelled as Dead Island 2 has a confirmed release date: April 21, 2023.
The action-horror survival game Dead Island 2 is the sequel to the 2011 game Dead Island. It has been created by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver.
What do we know about Dead Island 2 gameplay?
As we mentioned earlier, Dead Island 2 is undergoing a drastic set change and will now be set in Los Angeles. Here, players will be able to take on the role of various characters fighting for survival in the chaos of a zombie plague, swapping their positions throughout the game. Six characters will be available, and they are Paralympian Amy, rock star Dani, hustler Bruno, motorcycle stunt rider Carla, Hollywood stuntman Jacob, and exotic dancer Ryan.
To counter the zombie threat, the characters will have a wide arsenal of weapons, as well as the ability to customize them with a new system. Of course, they will also have hand-to-hand combat items at their disposal, such as baseball bats, knives, and katanas, among others. An interesting novelty is the Madness ability, which is activated when attacked by zombies and allows you to dodge hordes of infected for a short time. Not all enemies will be the same, and we will encounter different varieties of them, each with its own mutations and behaviors.
