No internet sound

Hello,

I recently had a virus on my computer and in a panic, started uninstalling anything I didn't recognize in attempt to get rid of it. I did successfully remove the virus using Anti-Malware software, so I don't think the virus is causing the problem. However, now I have no sound when using the internet. I reinstalled my sound card and audio driver. I checked for msacm32.drv in the System32 folder, checked the volume settings, checked the internet audio settings, tried using headphones--all the suggestions I found on the forums. Nothing has worked. I am able to play audio straight from the computer, just not from the internet. Any other ideas?

Hi,

try this 1

Copy this text starting from "Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00" --->open

notepad---->paste it ---->then save that file as fix.reg

Note : Don't forget the .reg( dot reg) extension.

Then double click on the file----> click on OK.

Thank you for your response! I'm sorry--I should have mentioned that I tried that as well and it didn't work. Any other suggestions?
