uTorrent - Turn off your PC once downloads are completed

April 2018

uTorrent is one of the most widely used software for PC downloads across the world. uTorrent software speeds up the download time by not relying on a single source for this download. Instead, it utilises multiple sourcess to act as hosts, and each user can download as well as upload at the same time. One can easily select settings in uTorrent which will turn off the computer once the PC downloads are complete. These options can be easily found under the Options menu of uTorrent.

If you want to turn off your PC once the downloads with uTorrent are completed, simply do the following:
  • Open uTorrent
  • Click on the Options menu> Auto shutdown > Quit When Downloads complete
