Change crosshair color and size: CSGO, CounterStrike

If you want to change the crosshair color and size in CounterStrike Source, or CS:GO, it is fairly easy to do, just follow these steps.

The crosshair is an essential element of the CS games and you can personalize it with different colors and sizes. In order to do this you need to be in developer mode.

How do I change the color of crosshair in CS?

Open the console by pressing ~.
From the main menu of your console, go to Options > Game Settings > Enable Developer Console.
Open the console and type the following command: cl_crosshaircolor

Now depending on the value assigned, you will have several color variations:

0 for green- default
1 for red
2 for blue
3 for yellow
4 for cyan

After you have entered the color code, confirm your choice by pressing Enter.

There is also a command to set your own color using RGB values:

cl_crosshaircolor 5: parameter

To customize your RGB color, assign a value for the amount of each color you want to mix – from 0 to 255. For example:
