Granny: Chapter Two is an indie survival horror video game developed and published by DVloper as a sequel to the first Granny title. You will start another frightening journey waking up in Grandpa's house where more monsters and dangers await you. Be smart, keep your temper, and escape from this place before the fifth day ends, or you may not live another day.

Plot

This time, you wake up in the first title house, lying in bed before being knocked out and driven to Grandpa's house. As you wake up again, you will have to face both Grandpa and Granny, who will do everything it takes to take you down, or worse. So, be prepared to face new challenges, survive, and escape from this place once and for all.

Gameplay

• Grandpa: Grandpa is a new protagonist that introduces another layer of difficulty and will change the way you used to play the game. Grandpa doesn't hear very well and will not be alerted by most sounds, but he is armed with a bloody baseball bat, so you should run if you don't want to be hit hard.
• Granny: Granny is very dangerous and unpredictable as she has excellent hearing and is very fast when she decides to hunt you down.
• Be stealthy: You should pay attention to every detail to avoid making noise by dropping things on the floor or walking on a creaking floor. Also, watch out for bear traps used by Granny and Grandpa, as they will slow your progress and buy them time to knock you down.
• Monsters: In addition to the dangerous creatures in the first title, like the spider, two new monsters now live in this place, so beware of the giant octopus and that strange creature Granny and Grandpa love.
• Use your environment: You can hide from them in wardrobes or under beds (still, be careful no one sees you when you are hiding). Also, you can protect yourself using different traps or objects to stun your hosts.
• Escape: You have 5 nights to escape this horrible place. Every time Granny or Grandpa beat you up, you fall unconscious, and a new day will start. If you're caught on the fifth night, you may not survive. This time, you can escape by unlocking the front door, via a helicopter, or exploring the sewers at your own risk.
• Controls: You can control and move your character throughout the game using the directional pad and interact with almost anything in the house.

Graphics and sound

Even though the game offers simple graphics and sound similar to the first title, it manages to create an even creepier look and atmosphere. Indeed, characters and places have that crazed look that will make you feel very uncomfortable, just the way you like.

Duration and game modes

Granny: Chapter Two offers a solo experience that can last 1 hour on average if you focus on the main story and about 3 hours if you explore everything it features. In addition, you can choose among five levels of difficulty, including Practice, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme.

The practice mode can be a good starting point as it allows you to explore the house without Granny and Grandpa. But remember, the place is not totally free of dangers. Also, you may be able to choose between Grandpa and Granny in lower difficulty levels, but they will both be present in higher ones.
