Pokémon Infinite Fusion offers a unique Pokémon experience wherein you will experiment with fusing Pokémons to get unique capabilities combinations in a world full of quests and exciting adventures.

Gameplay

• Fusing and defusing: This is the game's key feature, as you can fuse any Pokémon you want with another one using a Fusing item on them. Trying to use it on an already fused Pokémon will unfuse it. The results will be different depending on the Fusing item you use, like the classic DNA splicers (the Pokémon's levels are averaged), the Super Splicer (the highest Pokémon's level is kept, and you can select the nature to keep), the Infinite Splicer (a reusable DNA Splicer), or the DNA Reverser (inverts the fusion, the body becomes the head and the head becomes the body).
• So many Pokémon: You will meet many Pokémon in this vast world, including every Pokémon from generations 1 and 2, as well as 101 Pokémon from generations 3 to 7. Also, thanks to the Fusion feature, you can try up to 176.400 possible combinations.

• Rich adventures: You will travel across the whole Kanto region with many extra areas, discover over 40 sidequests, and fight all the 16 Gym Leaders from the Kanto and Johto regions. Once you have finished exploring all these places and defeated everyone, you can continue your journey into the Johto region three years before Gold and Silver's events or explore the Sevii Islands to find exotic Pokémon.
• Legendary Pokémon: If you like challenges, you can try to catch all the 25 Legendary Pokémon of this wild world.

• Battles: You can experience Duo and Triple Battles with Gen 7 moves and battle mechanics. Also, you have access to other battle facilities like the Battle Factory, the Triple Battle lounge, and more.
• Trade and NPCs: You can rematch or trade with NPCs after battling them. Of course, NPCs become stronger each time, and their Pokémon can evolve. This is very engaging as it adds lots of replayability.
• HMs: All the HMs from the Kanto games are available, even if some locations have been changed and three new ones have been added. Also, HMs can be forgotten at any time, and some items act as HM replacements.

Graphics and sound

Pokémon Infinite Fusion offers Pokémon 5th generation graphics and sounds similar to the Nintendo DS, with over 20.000 custom sprites handcrafted by the community. Still, it provides a pretty good experience with a new UI and a faster day and night system.

• Classic mode: You will get the original experience of the game.
• Random mode: Varied aspects of the game will be randomized, like Pokémon stats, trainers, gym types, starters, wild Pokémon, Global mapping, and more. You will be taught all the different options. To activate the random mode, you can either start a new savefile and speak to the Update Man on the top floor of Pokémon Centers or start a new savefile while having another savefile.
• Reversed mode: This is a special game mode that flips every trainer's fusions.
