How to start Steam in big picture mode
Steam Big Picture Mode offers quite a cool interface, so If you want to turn it on by default, follow the instructions below.
How to start Steam in Big Picture Mode?
Big Picture Mode is supported on PCs running Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, as well as computers running macOS 10.11 or later, and Linux PCs running the latest versions of Ubuntu. To enable this mode, do the following:
- Open Steam and log in.
- Click on Steam in the top menu bar (the upper left of Steam on Windows, or in the menu bar above Steam on OSX).
- Go to the Settings option (Preferences on OSX).
- Go to the Interface section on the left panel and check Start Steam in Big Picture Mode.
- Click Ok to validate.
How to disable Big Picture Mode?
If you want to take Steam out of Big Picture Mode, you can do so at any time. Do the following:
- Move your cursor over the Logout button in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Press ALT + ENTER on your keyboard.
