How to restart your iPhone
If your iPhone is being buggy or experiencing app crashes and trouble starting, you may need to reboot it to solve your problem. Continue reading to learn how to do so.
How to restart your iPhone X, 11, 12 or 13
- Press and hold one of the volume buttons and the side button until the power-off slider appears
- Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force-restart your device (see below).
- To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right-hand side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.
How to force restart your iPhone 8
- Press and hold the side button until the power-off slider appears
