Compaq Notebook boots with a black screen [Solved/Closed]

And I started up my laptop this mornin and where there should ba a logo here was a black screen. I then proceeded to wait for it to boot up and it did. All with a black screen of course. Now what I did next was try to type in m password and it worked. But the entire time it was on a black screen. I have a Compaq CQ60-615DX Notebook and any and all help would be appreciated.

Try this:

1) Disconnect the AC power adapter --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power

button for 60 seconds --> Now reconnect the AC power adapter and try to

switch ON the laptop. Later put the battery back into the laptop.

2) If the problem still exists then click on the below link and follow the instructions

TThat is the truth, as it was my bad ram I did change ram slots,after taking both out and switched slots and bingo ,problem solved.
