How to mark your tweets as sensitive?
Twitter added an option to mark your content as sensitive so your followers will be warned that this content can be raw and painful. Read on to find out how to mark your tweets as containing sensitive content.
How to mark your tweets as containing sensitive content?
If you are tweeting sensitive content and want to warn the other users about it, you can enable the following option by following these instructions:
- Sign-in to your Twitter account and click on your account icon in the top right corner.
- Then, go to Settings and Privacy > Privacy and Safety and scroll to the Tweet media section. Check mark Mark media you Tweet as containing material that may be sensitive.
- Finally, click on Save Changes.
Why can't I see sensitive content on Twitter?
You may not see sensitive media on Twitter because the option "Display media that may contain sensitive content" might be switched off. To turn it on, go to Settings and Privacy > Privacy and Safety, then scroll to the Tweet media and check mark Display media that may contain sensitive content.
