M3U is a computer file in the format of a text file that stores a multimedia playlist. Originally implemented in WinAMP and currently supported in many applications, like Juk and iTunes, the M3U file format is commonly used for streaming music on the internet.
This file type may be easily converted to an MP3
file. This tutorial will show you how.
Convert an M3U File to MP3
- Open the M3U file with Media Player, or add all of your M3U files to a single playlist.
- Select the File > Save As. Next, choose the destination folder that you created previously. Finally, click Save.
- Once these steps are correctly executed, a standard MP3 file will now be created.
If you don't wish to perform these steps manually, you can also use software like M3U Converter or Axara Media
