Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense video game where the player has to protect their house against hordes of zombies that are trying to invade the world. Your spectacular plants will help you go through this ordeal through lots of different levels and zombies.

Plot

Zombies hordes are invading the city and will try to destroy your home. But you won't let them invade your lawn that easily, as nature is fully equipped to defend you. Harvest sun units to grow your plants and repel those nasty evil creatures.

Gameplay

• The power of plants: The zombie apocalypse has begun, and they are coming for you. Protect your house using marvelous plants and unique abilities to outsmart the not-that-brainless zombies and clean your garden. Keep your head cool, observe your plants and the zombies, and make them go back to their graves.
• Level system: In Plants vs. Zombies, you will travel across lots of different areas, each composed of different levels. Up to 50 levels await you, such as the swimming pool, the garden, the rooftop, and lots more.
• Characters: All the available plants and zombies are gorgeous; you will love their style and unique appearance and behaviors. From Peashooter to Cobcannon, or Pogo Zombie, you will love them all.
• Share with your friends: Even though the game offers a solo experience, you can still share your strategies with your friends and learn from them new plant combinations. Also, you can compete for the highest score.
• Explore a unique universe: You will discover 49 anti-zombie plants in 50 levels full of up to 26 different types of zombies. Complete the game objectives and unlock additional content throughout the levels. Besides that, you will be able to participate in various seasonal events.

Graphics and sound

Plants vs. Zombies has cartoon-style and nice-looking graphics coherent with the OST and all the audio feedback, you will love hearing the zombies being crushed by your plants. Moreover, both the scenarios and the different characters are interesting and will dazzle you.

Duration and game modes

Plants vs. Zombies offers a solo experience with plenty of game modes you will love to discover. The game will last approximately 8 hours if you only focus on the main game mode and dozens of hours if you strive to explore and complete all the challenges it offers.

• Adventure mode: This is the primary game mode where you will earn money you can spend in the in-game store. The adventure mode is composed of 5 different areas with ten levels each. They all have a unique atmosphere and characteristics among day, night, pool, fog, and roof. In addition, you will unlock a new plant at the end of most areas.
• Mini-games: The mini-games are unlocked during the Adventure mode and are mostly for fun. You will be able to unlock up to 20 different mini-games where some of which are inspired by PopCap's earlier games.
• Puzzle mode: This is a series of puzzles of different types that will challenge your skills in original ways. Note that because this is a .apk version, you will have to purchase the “Vasebreaker”, “I, Zombie”, and “Last Stand” game packs if you want to explore all the puzzles.
• Survival: You will have to survive continuous waves of zombies. You will be allowed to choose among different seed packets to defend against the waves; after each wave, you will be able to replace your seed packets to adapt your strategy throughout the challenge.
