Total War: WARHAMMER 3 is a turn-based strategy (TBS) and real-time tactics video game. It is the third game set in the Warhammer universe and is a part of the Total War series. The game was developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega.

Gameplay

  • Gameplay: As mentioned above, the gameplay of Warhammer 3 is based on TBS mechanics and real-time tactics. Players will be able to choose between fighting against AI factions, customized real-time battles, and online multiplayer battles. Those who have races from the first two games will also have them in this third installment.

  • Plot: The Realm of Chaos, the cradle of evil magic, is ruled by the four Ruinous Powers: Slaanesh (the lord of excess), Khorne (the god of blood and slaughter), Nurgle (the plague god), and Tzeentch (the changer of ways). But two kingdoms - the civilization of Kislev and the empire of Grand Cathay - are ready to fight and send their armies to confront the dangers in the Realm of Chaos. And it's up to those armies to determine the destiny of the world.

Game modes

  • Factions & Races: There will be a total of six Total War: WARHAMMER 3 factions. Those are: Kislev, Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch, Slaanesh, and Cathay. Some rumored factions include the Chaos Dwarfs, the Hobgoblins, and the Ogre kingodms.

  • Map: To make sure you get the most out of the game, Warhammer 3 promises a bigger map, with a campaign map "twice the size" of the Eye of the Vortex campaign map (Warhammer 2), according to Ian Roxburgh (game director).

Age rating

The game has a PEGI 16 label. The content is described as showing violence of a graphical nature within a Fantasy World.
