How to save webpage as PDF on iPhone: iOS 14, iOS 12
You may find it very useful to save web pages as PDFs from your iOS web browser. Hopefully, a simple feature already allows you to do that in seconds.
How to save web pages as PDF on iOS 13 and later?
- Open the page using Safari.
- Make sure you are in reader mode: tap and hold the aA icon on the left of the URL bar,
- Take a screenshot of the page.
- Select Full Page instead of Screen.
- You will now see the whole page appears because you're in screenshot editing mode. When you're finished editing (in case you want to add arrows, highlight sections, etc.) share it to any app of your choice by clicking on the share button (the box with the arrow pointing up) or save it to files by clicking on Done:
- Confirm.
How to save web pages as PDF on iOS 12 and earlier?
- Open the page using Safari.
- Tap the Share icon, and swipe left until you find Save PDF to iBooks.
- Tap Save PDF to iBook to create your PDF file. While the file converts, Safari will display a message that reads Creating PDF - Preparing... Once done, iOS will launch iBooks to open the new PDF.
- Open iBooks and go to the PDF tab to view your saved web pages.
