Plot

Dr. Zomboss and his crew of zany zombies have set up a new and elaborate plan to try to conquer Neighborville. But you won't let him rule the city, do you? With the help of your plants, you will battle zombies to rebuild Neighborville and hunt every one of them, one lawn at a time.

Gameplay

• Be strategic: Zombies are numerous and may try to outnumber you, but they are no longer thinking beings. Okay, some of them may be pretty dangerous, though. Nonetheless, you will learn their different patterns and understand how to effectively combine your plants to outsmart them and send them back to their grave.
• Plants: Plants are living organisms obtaining their energy from sunlight, but they are also your best allies to kick zombies out of here. In this title, you will find all your beloved original plants but also new ones with specific skills, abilities, life points, speed, defense, and attack. So, think out of the box, and combine them wisely to create stunning combos. Oh, and power-ups will undoubtedly spice up the whole mix.

• Zombies and bosses: Those villains are as numerous as the different environments they are living in, such as Disco Zombie, Rocket Scientist, Donut Roller, Balloon Zombie, Gargantuar, Skeleton, Shark Zombie, and lots more. Each zombie has its own speed, life points, attack, defense, and specific behavior and skills. But don't think they are the only ones you should fear, as powerful and deadly dangerous bosses will cross your path.
• Puzzles: You will puzzle your way through levels and help restore Neighborville. As you progress, you will unlock new powerful items, solve unique challenges and puzzles, and do everything you can to eliminate this plague.
• Touchscreen: The controls have been refined to provide way better support for touchscreen devices.

Graphics and sound

Developed using the Unity game engine, Plants vs. Zombies 3 comes with enhanced appealing graphics and revamped and modern interfaces. In addition, you can now see the zombies and plants from a 3D point of view, making it more immersive and pleasant to play. Audio effects have been refined to transcribe the combats and actions more accurately. And the soundtrack still rocks in its own way!
