How To Change the Screen Orientation in Windows


Sometimes, simply pressing a wrong key can cause the screen of your PC to be displayed upside down . This problem is more common than it seems and has a very easy solution. You just need to use some keyboard shortcuts or make simple adjustments from the Window Control Panel s so that your screen returns to its normal position.


How To Rotate the Screen in Windows with Keyboard Shortcuts

Press the Ctrl + Alt + up arrow keys to return the screen to normal.
Press the Ctrl + Alt + down arrow keys so that the screen rotates 180 degrees (upside down screen).
Press the Ctrl + Alt + left arrow keys so that the screen rotates 90 degrees.
Press the Ctrl + Alt + right arrow keys so that the screen rotates 270 degrees.

How To Rotate the Screen in Windows from the Control Panel

Press the Windows + X key, and then select Control Panel. Click Screen > Change screen settings. In the drop-down menu select the orientation you want. To return the screen to its normal orientation, select Horizontal:
