Step 1: Main Campaign and Memory of Sai Mota

Before beginning the Symphony of Death quest, complete the main Shadowkeep campaign quests. Once done, visit Eris Morn in the Sanctuary and collect the Memory of Sai Mota from her.

Step 2: Lunar Spelunker Bounty

Speak to Eris again and accept the Lunar Spelunker bounty. This bounty will guide you to complete three Lost Sectors on the Moon: K1 Communion, K1 Crew Quarters, and K1 Logistics. After clearing each sector, collect the Firewall Data Fragment as your bounty reward.

Step 3: Sai Mota's Broken Necklace

Complete the final Lost Sector, K1 Revelation, in Sorrow's Harbor. At the end of the sector, locate an orange tunnel leading to a locked door. Use the Firewall Data Fragment to unlock the door and obtain Sai Mota's Broken Necklace.

Step 4: Necklace Scraps

Travel to Sorrow's Harbor and defeat Nightmares using Arc abilities to gather 20 Necklace Scraps. While any weapon can be used to drain the Nightmare's health bar, the final blow must come from an Arc weapon to receive Necklace Scraps.

Step 5: Faculties of the Skull

Return to the Sanctuary and enter the portal where Eris is usually found. Interact with Eris and open the chest behind her to initiate the first step of the Symphony of Death quest, "Faculties of the Skull."

Step 6: Marrow's Elegy

Upon completing the Faculties of the Skull quest, step in the Circle of Bones, return to Eris in the Sanctuary to start the "Marrow's Elegy" quest step. This will require you to complete three objectives:

  • Participate in a Public Event in the Hellmouth.
  • Clear the K1 Revelation Lost Sector on the Moon once again.
  • Defeat a Wandering Bone Collector on the Moon.

Step 7: Defeating Wandering Bone Collectors

Wandering Bone Collectors randomly spawn near the Fallen encampment in the Anchor of Light on the Moon. Keep an eye out for them while exploring the area.

Step 8: Sulmakta the High Conductor

Join the Scarlet Keep Strike and defeat Sulmakta the High Conductor on the second floor to progress in the quest.

Step 9: Of Darkest Harmony

Proceed to the "Of Darkest Harmony" quest step, which involves defeating various enemies. This step consists of three separate objectives:

  • Defeat regular enemies.
  • Defeat enemies with yellow or red health bars.
  • Defeat bosses or other guardians.

Step 10: Additional Quests and Progression

Since the "Of Darkest Harmony" step can take some time, consider working on other quests simultaneously to make efficient progress.

Step 11: Choir of the Damned

Complete the "Choir of the Damned" quest step by returning to the Circle of Bones and defeating Ir Airam the Deathsinger. Afterward, return to Eris in the Sanctuary to claim the Deathbringer rocket launcher as your reward.

What does the Deathbringer do?

The Deathbringer is an Exotic rocket launcher exclusive to the Shadowkeep expansion in Destiny 2. This powerful weapon launches rockets that have a unique characteristic of splitting into multiple projectiles, maximising both range and damage potential.

  • The Deathbringer's intrinsic perk, Dark Deliverance, allows you to shoot projectiles that can be remotely detonated, providing you with control over the timing and placement of the explosions. This can be helpful when dealing with groups of enemies or targeting specific areas for maximum impact.
  • The weapon also features additional perks that enhance its performance such as the Volatile Launch increases blast radius at the expense of handling speed, allowing for a wider area of effect. There is also the Alloy Casing which improves reload speed, enabling faster re-engagement during tense combat situations.
  • Dark Descent is another perk that causes the Deathbringer's rockets to descend and track enemies more aggressively when fired at an angle. This makes it much easier to hit targets that are evading or taking cover.
  • To further improve handling, the Deathbringer is equipped with Composite Stock, which enhances stability and recoil control. This makes it easier to aim and maintain accuracy while firing.

With its ability to unleash devastating rockets that split into multiple projectiles, the Deathbringer offers immense damage potential and versatility. Its many perks cater to different playstyles, allowing you to adapt its usage to various combat scenarios.
