How to create a group chat in Viber: Android, iPhone

How to create a group?

Open Viber on your phone
Tap on Chats
Tap Compose
Tap New Group
Select the contacts you would like to form a group with
Select the group type (Group Chat will be selected by default)
Validate the group creation

How to customize the group name, icon, and background?

Open the group chat
Tap on the group settings icon
Tap Chat Info
A new panel will open
Tap on the group image to edit the group's name and image, type a name and select an image, then validate
Tap on Background to edit the group's background, select a background and validate

How to add participants?

Open the group chat
Tap on the group settings icon
Tap Chat Info
A new panel will open, tap on Add participants

How to delete participants?

Open the group chat
Tap on the group settings icon
Tap Chat Info
A new panel will open, tap on the participant you want to delete

How to leave or delete groups?

Every member can leave and delete the group on their phone, but the group chat will continue to exist for all the other participants until everyone leaves the group.
