If you see a “Windows Installer Has Stopped Working”, follow these steps to fix it:



1) Click on the Start button and select Run, then type regedit. (You can also open the Run window by pressing Windows + R keys simultaneously).
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions.
3) Look for the MachineThrottling key and delete it.
4) Close the registry editor and restart your PC.
