Snapchat front flash: not working, colors, Android, iPhone
This article will explain how to manage the front-facing flash feature of the Snapchat app.
How to enable the front-facing flash on Snapchat?
The Snapchat app has a built-in flash for taking selfies in a dark room or at night. There are two ways to enable the front flash for Snapchat:
- Open the Snapchat app, click on your profile picture, and tap on the Settings menu (represented by the gear icon). Next, scroll to the Additional services section and tap on Manage. Check the Front-Facing Flash option to enable the feature.
- Swipe down your phone's screen and set manually the brightness at maximum.
How to change selfie light color on Snapchat?
Snapchat's selfie flash now has a ring light switch that allows you to change the color of the flash and its intensity. You can choose between white, blue and yellow color options. To select the desired color, follow these steps:
- On your smartphone, open the Snapchat app, turn on the front camera, and tap the lightning bolt icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- You will see color buttons and a color brightness slider. Experiment with them and set the flash color. Once you've chosen a color, close the switch by tapping anywhere on the screen and take your selfie.
