Google Chrome - Enable/Disable the pre-rendering of webpages

Depending on the type of connection you are using you can enable the network action prediction feature (pre-rendering of webpages) feature of Google Chrome. But it is highly recommended that you turn it off , when using a slow internet connection. To enable/disable this feature:
  • Click on the button named "Customize and Control Google Chrome" > Settings
  • Scroll down and click on "Show Advanced settings"
  • In the Privacy section, ensure that "Predict network actions to improve page load performance" is checked to enable it.
