How to stop auto download in Viber

To avoid depleting your mobile data plan, you can choose to disable the automatic download of photos and videos on Viber. This will pause downloads of any photos and videos shared via Viber until you're once again connected to a WiFi network.

To disable automatic media download on Viber:

• Open the Viber app.
• Click on More at the bottom of the screen.
• Click on Settings > Media and storage.
• Disable the field Auto download media over mobile network.
• Disable the field Auto download media when connected to Wi-Fi if you also want to turn off auto-download when you are connected to Wi-Fi.
