Restore Google Photos: backup, to phone, to gallery

This tutorial will walk you through how to recover any photo or video files that may have been accidentally deleted from your Google Photos library. Note that any files that have been deleted may be recovered using this method for up to 60 days.

To recover deleted photos and videos with Google Photos:

• Open the Google Photos app, and tap on Menu. Then select your Trash folder:

• All of your deleted items will be listed here. Simply select the items you wish to recover, and then tap on the small arrow button to restore them:

• The trash can button allows you to permanently delete photos and videos from your device.

Tip: Tap on the Ellipsis button > Empty trash to permanently clear the Trash folder.
