How to sort Google Drive

Storing documents in Google Drive is an excellent way to clear up space on your computer and other devices. However, finding your documents can often be a challenge. Luckily, there is a quick way to sort documents which we will go through in this article.
How to reorder files and folders?
If you're viewing your files in a grid
- In the top right, click the title of the current sort next to the arrow, like "Name" or "Last modified".
- Click on the type of sorting you want among Last edited by me, Last modified, Last opened by me, and Title.
- To modify the sorting order, click the up arrow or down arrow.
If you're viewing your files in a list
- Click the column you want to sort (on Name, Last modified, etc.).
- To modify the sorting order, click the up arrow or down arrow.
