Word 2010 - Include the document properties when printing

April 2018

Microsoft Word can be configured to print documents with the document properties information. To include the document properties when printing, the settings have to be changed in the Printing options of the MS Word Office software. The option for "Print Document Properties" has to be enabled. Document properties include information related to the creation of the document, authors, modification dates, number of revisions etc.

If you want your print-outs to include the "document properties", then you must configure these settings under MS Word:
  • Open Word
  • Click on File > Options > Display tab
  • In the Right pane scroll to "Printing options"
  • Check the box next to "Print Document Properties"
