Change Facebook language: in browser, in app
To meet the needs of its growing international user base, Facebook is now available in over 100 languages. This tutorial will teach you three simple ways to change your language settings on the social network.
How to change the language from the login page?
Open Facebook in your web browser. If you're not yet logged in, you can set your home screen language preferences by clicking on one of the available language options at the bottom of the page. If you don't see the language of your choice on the list, click on the + icon.
How to change the language from your settings?
Alternatively, you can also update your language by clicking on the small arrow in the upper right corner of the screen and then selecting Settings & Privacy.
From there, click Language.
On the page that opens, next to Facebook language, select Edit.
A drop-down will appear with the available options. To modify, select your desired languages and click Save Changes.
How to change the language from the Android app?
Open the Facebook app and tap the Menu option. Then, scroll to Help and Settings.
Next, select App Settings and click General Settings.
Tap the Language option, and then make your selection.
Your new settings will be applied right away.
