Time on Skype is wrong: change the time zone
Skype should automatically use the time and timezone of your computer. If this is not the case for you, or you are using a VPN that alters your location, it is also possible to manually adjust the time zone in Skype using the following procedure.
How to change Skype location and time zone?
If you want to change your Skype location and time zone for whatsoever reason, it is very simple to do. Here's how:
- Sign-in to your Skype account and click on the Skype menu
- Go toManage > Skype Profile
- On the left side of the menu, click on Account & Profile. Next, scroll down to the Location section. By default, it should be set in accordance to your PC's current location (based on your IP address).
- From here you can enter a drop-down menu to change your current location, and in doing so the timezone will be changed accordingly.
