Command Prompt was a Microsoft-supplied command line interpreter and is called MS-DOS Prompt on Windows 9x systems. (It has since been replaced by PowerShell. This article presents a command prompt list for Windows, such as those in Control Panel, Windows Utility and Applications, Disk Management, and Connection Management. It also includes a list of miscellaneous commands. Here is a list of commands you can use under Microsoft Windows, arranged by function.
