Friends Emojis in Snapchat

Snapchat recently introduced friend emojis, a new way to highlight people with whom you interact the most on the video sharing app. As a result of this update, you'll now find a big red heart displayed next to your BFF, two small red hearts next to your super BFF, as well as a couple of strange symbols displayed next to your other contacts.

At this moment, Friends emojis can't be turned off. Nevertheless, Snapchat offers some ways to customize them to your liking.

How To Edit Snapchat Friends Emojis

Open Snapchat, and go to Settings > Additional Services > Manage > Friends Emojis:

Here, you will find the app's default friend emojis as well as their secret meaning. Simply tap on the friend emoji you'd like to edit and then select a new symbol (e.g. editing BFF):

Repeat the operation to edit the other friend emojis.
