A Desktop Shortcut to Put Your Computer to Sleep (Standby) on Windows 7)
- Right-click on an blank area of your desktop > New > Shortcut.
- In the Type the location of the item field, copy/paste the following:
rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0
- Click on Next and give a name to the shortcut.
- Double click on the shortcut to give it a try!
