YouTube’s Live Streaming service, one can easily host and broadcast live events online. Setting up a live streaming session on your YouTube channel is a breeze, it can be done from a computer or mobile device.

Prerequisites for Live Streaming
You need to make sure that your account has been verified and is in good standing with Google’s guideline (no copyright infringement). Learn more in our

You’ll also need to get your hands on the right hardware. On a computer, a basic webcam and microphone will do the trick. You can also perform a live streaming session from your mobile device via the
YouTube app.
How To Enable Live Streaming on YouTube
Once everything is set up, head to the
Channel settings >
Status and features section. Enable the
Live streaming option and accept the TOS:
How To Start a Live Broadcast
Open the
Creator Studio and then go to
Live Streaming:

You can start a live broadcast right away by clicking on
Stream Now:
How To Schedule a Live Broadcast
You can create and schedule your live broadcast sessions by clicking on the
Events menu:

Go to the
Advanced Settings tab to set up monetization, live chats, private broadcasts, and age restrictions options.
