Safari is Apple's internet browser that comes installed on all it's devices. If you're using a Mac or MacBook, you can view the source code of a webpage using the browser. This article will show you how to get started.

How to view the source code of a webpage under Safari?

To be able to view the source code of a webpage under Safari, you first need to enable the Developer menu:
  • Click on Safari menu > Preferences > Advanced.
  • Tick the box Show Develop menu in menu bar.


  • Close the Preferences window.
  • Go to the Develop menu > Show Page Source
