Disable tablet PC input panel: Windows 7
The Tablet PC Input Service is a service that allows any edition of Windows 7 to be installed on a Tablet PC. It also enables users to use an external pen and touch input device. If you would like to disable the Tablet PC Input Service service, under Windows 7, follow this guide.
To disable the tablet PC input service:
- Click on Start then type "services.msc" in the search field and press enter.
- In the "Services" window, look for the following entry:
- Tablet PC Input Service
- Double click on it and set the "Startup type" as "Disabled"
- Click on OK to validate.
