You can create a desktop shortcut to rapidly access your Yahoo mail account and start composing a new mail, this article will show you how to set up a shortcut icon on your desktop.

• Right-click on an empty area of your desktop.
• Go to New > Shortcut.
• In the Location of item... field, enter the following: 

https://login.yahoo.com?.src=ym&.lang=en-US&.intl=us&.done=https%3A%2F%2Fcompose.mail.yahoo.com%2Fmrd%2Fmrd%2F 

• Click on Next and then give a name to the shortcut: e.g. Compose new mail.

• Click on OK to validate.
• Note: Don't forget to leave the Keep me signed in option checked when you sign i to Yahoo. This will avoid you to re-enter your login, each time you make use of the shortcut.
