Mac OS - Deleting multiple files and folders quickly

If your Mac desktop is being filled with unnecessary files and folders, you can remove them by dragging them to the trash one by one. But you can also delete several at once, holding down the Shift key, click on each of the items you want to remove, then drag them to the Trash (or right click and select "Move to Trash")
