Gmail is one of the most popular webmail systems in the world. Powered by
Google, Gmail offers its users a huge amount of storage space for saving emails and important files online. Furthermore, if you accidentally delete a file or message, Gmail offers you an easy way to recover your files.
How To Recover Deleted Gmail Messages
After deleting an email, the message is stored in your
Trash for up to 30 days following deletion. Recovery of these messages is very simple, as your trash folder lies just under your email folders and subfolders.
Log in to your
Gmail account. Once logged in, you will arrive at your main interface, which contains a list of your folders and subfolders:
Click the
More option below your folders. Four additional options should appear, including
Chats,
All mail,
Spam, and
Trash.
Click your
Trash button. Any items deleted within a 30 day time span will be listed. Simply click the item that you'd like to recover, and then click
Move to Inbox.
