How to delete an Instagram account permanently?
Deleting your Instagram account is irreversible, meaning you will lose all your photos and information. This is why the social media site provides you with the option to temporarily disable your account so that you may restore it at a later date.
To permanently delete your account in Accounts Centre
To permanently delete your Instagram account, rather than simply disabling your account, you have to login to your account in the browser version of the platform:

- Then choose Settings
- Click Accounts Centre > Personal details.
- Click Account ownership and control
- Click Deactivation or deletion
- Click the account that you want to permanently delete.
- Click Delete account, then click Continue (alternatively, here you can choose the option to temporarily deactivate your account).
- To confirm this action, you will have to write your password.

You can also delete permanently your account using Instagram's "Delete your account" page on the web. You will be prompted if you're not already logged in.
