I have noticed a folder on the D: drive named as "Windows Image Backup". The problem is that, the folder has a size of 55 GB. What is this? Can it be safely deleted?.
If you want to delete this backup file, should you already disabled the automatic backup feature of Windows.
- Click on Start button > Control Panel > System and Maintenance> Backup and Restore.
- In the left pane, click on "Turn Off Schedule".
- From there you can delete or move the file.
